Work Schedule:
•     Saturday: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
•     Monday & Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (includes a 30-minute lunch break)
Position Overview:
The Church Janitor plays a vital role in ensuring that all church facilities remain clean, safe, and welcoming for congregants and visitors. Responsibilities include routine cleaning, light maintenance tasks, and preparing spaces for worship services, events, and other church activities. We’re seeking someone dependable, detail-oriented, and respectful of the church’s values and community.

Key Responsibilities:
•     Perform daily cleaning of restrooms, common areas, offices, and worship spaces
•     Handle basic maintenance and repairs as needed
•     Set up and break down furniture and equipment for scheduled events
•     Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies
•     Ensure all areas are secure and presentable

Qualifications:
•     High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
•     Prior experience in janitorial or custodial work (a plus)
•     Ability to work independently and follow verbal or written instructions
•     Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, and performing repetitive tasks
•     Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
•     Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends as needed
•     Committed to upholding the confidentiality and integrity of the church environment
