As a Teacher Assistant, you'll play a vital role in helping students ages 3-12 succeed both inside and outside the classroom. No two days are the same, and every day offers the chance to inspire, encourage, and make a lasting impact.

You'll work side-by-side with teachers and school staff to create a positive, engaging learning environment where students can thrive.

Your Daily Responsibilities Include:

✅ Supporting individual students and small groups with classroom lessons
✅ Assisting with enrichment, independent study, and academic support activities
✅ Preparing classroom materials and organizing learning resources
✅ Helping facilitate classroom projects, activities, and school events
✅ Assisting with grading and administrative classroom tasks
✅ Supervising students during lunch, recess, field trips, and special activities
✅ Building positive relationships with students and encouraging their growth
✅ Supporting teachers in creating a fun, structured learning environment

🎓 Education Requirements

Applicants must meet ONE of the following qualifications:

📚 60 or more college credit hours completed
📚 Associate's Degree or higher
📚 Passing score on the Missouri ParaPro or Paraprofessional Assessment
📚 Completion of Missouri's Online Substitute Training Program
📚 Valid Missouri Substitute Teaching Certificate
